SNOWSHOE THE ICE AGE TRAIL @ NAWAKWA
The Ice Age Trail is a National Scenic Trail that follows the edge of where ancient glaciers once carved through Wisconsin’s landscape.
A section of that trail runs through Our Nawakwa camp in Cornell, WI.
Come hit the trails with a naturalist from Beaver Creek Reserve and find out what makes this trail so special!
We will hike for about an hour and a half, stopping along the way to look at plants, animals, tracks, and other points of interest.
We will end back at Our Nawakwa to warm up with some hot chocolate.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear layers.
Feel free to bring your own snowshoes, or get fitted into a pair at Our Nawakwa.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to sign Our Nawakwa’s participant waiver.
