You probably know that maple syrup is made by boiling down the sugary sap of the maple tree, but why do maple trees produce so much sugar in the first place?
How was syrup made before metal evaporators and reverse osmosis?
Come learn the answers to these questions with a Beaver Creek naturalist, and get a sneak peek inside the new sugar shack before Maple Fest!
Ages 12+
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
