A new look to our previous event known as Maple Syrup Saturday... Join us for Maple Fest and explore the tradition of maple sugaring right here at Beaver Creek!
Learn how to tap, collect, and boil down sap into that wonderful syrup we all love. Visit our brand new Sugar Shack and taste test Beaver Creek's maple syrup with a sweet breakfast treat, coffee, or hot chocolate. Be sure to also try our maple sugar cotton candy!
To ensure we have enough equipment per group, please sign up for a rotation during registration for our scheduled sessions to help limit group sizes:
Scheduled Sessions (included in rotation sign up):
- Learn how to tap a maple tree
- Make your adopt-a-tree tag
- Adopt your very own maple tree
Additional Event Activities (no sign-up required):
- Breakfast treat and maple syrup, coffee, and hot chocolate
- Cooking Sap into Syrup presentation
- History of Maple Syrup presentation
- Maple sugar cotton candy
- Kids activities and story time
Please plan to arrive and check-in at the Wise Nature Center at least 10 minutes before your scheduled rotation.
Pre-registration closes on Friday, March 13 | Walk-ins will be available, however, group sizes during rotations are limited based off pre-registrations. We recommend registering in advance to save time at the door and ensure you sign-up for the time slot that best fits your availability.
