Are you new to birding? Then Bird School is for you! This entry-level course is fun and engaging and designed specifically for beginners who want to learn more about birds and take the next step in birding. This course will combine classroom lectures, field trips and group activities to give you a full learning experience. Topics include how to use binoculars and field guides, ecology, migration, and conservation. We will explain how to identify birds using size, shape, plumage and other field marks. We will teach you to listen to birds and tricks to identify their songs. Come and join us for Bird School!
